-Pops out of nowhere, big black circles around her eyes and a book sticking stubbornly to her nose-

MY MINIONS!!! I DON'T WANT TO READ ANYMORE!!!!

MY EYEEEEEEEEEEES!

-ejem- Hello!!! How is everyone doing over here? it's been rather quiet around here, but let me explain: there were tests, and books, and tests, and paper due to ridiculous dates, and tests, and presentations, and... yes, you guessed: TESTS.

I'm pretty tired, so until now I couldn't muster the will to write over here. In other news my doggie has been rather sick this past month, and my mom busy so my house pretty much was a disaster. BUT! I learned new cooking recipes and that makes me happy (that mekes me sound like a house wife from the fifties XD but cooking does relax me)

BUT! Even if student life has been rather hard, I've had my great moments too: turns out that the "worst" subject we had for this year is rather easy to me (let's hope it keeps that way) and I've piled in my closet a pretty good amount of books for the summer AND in the upcoming spring brake I shall be getting out of this city and flying all the way to the magical land of Mickey Mouse!!! WHOOT!!! I've been dying to go to Disney for a very long time, since tha only time I went was way back when I was three so... can't remember much XD also hoping Tuti gets a sudden urge to visit the american version of Disney land at the same time... so if I can abduct him that way *evil eyes* Who wants photos posted?!!!!! -overlooks the people-

And... that's it XD see? you all didn't miss much during this "brake" I took :D Oh! yes, I'm also looking for good fantasy-books that I can add to my stack of -meaning-to-read-during-summer so, if anyone knows anything, just raise your voice!

Jya mata ne!

o.0 The weather outside IS awful!! but WELCOME CHRISTMAS!!!

^^ Hello!!! How are you all, my dear fangirling fellows? I hope you're warm and prepared because holidays are here!!

Iyaa~ long time not coming here: college has been rather busy and I think I haven't read so much so fast in a looong time @-@ But!!! now I'm just facing two test and Don Quixote and then... holiday vacation! Gift hunting was a real nightmare: why must mothers want things that poor daughters just CAN'T afford? :/ Plus, today is my mom's birthday so I always have to get her two presents so yes, indeed, HORROR _._ I just hope she likes what I bought for her.

I really don't have much to tell this time; I'm just reporting to you people (you're making me feel awful 'cause everyone is updating but me XD). But I do have something to say: today I received a comment to one of my post from someone (:/ they didn't log in or put a penname) that kind of worried me. It was actually written in spanish, but it's something that everyone that stumbles here should know so I'll write both versions.

Go! )

^^ Sorry to the people that reads my journal in english but tonight, drunk with sleepiness as I am, spanish it is.

Hello Hello!!! 夏恋いでもしたのか!^^ Well my sweet minions, I hope you had a wonderful vacation, or at least, a wonderful summer time!! even if it meant going to work.

Here it's so hot lately _._ My poor Ichigo (my sweet Bearded Colie) is all day suffering from it, but with all the hair she has, I can do little to help her. How was my summer, you might ask? oh well, like I said before, pretty boring XD after going to Margarita my life can be described in few items:

1)Reading a lot, but now I ran out of books T_T

2)I've improved my cooking skills! for lack of anything better to do I've been cooking for my mum an I and now I can make salmon recipies!! XD it may not sound like much but hey!! if Tuti's reading this know he'll know that I'll make a good bride *hint hint* ^.~

3)I've been going for rutinary health examinations because my mom is all for prevention _._ I do think it's important, but getting up so early and having to wait for hours to get the doctor to see me is no fun _._... T_T specially if I have no books to entertein myself with

4)I've been SLOWLY getting over the trauma I got last year about taking my doggie for a walk around the square >///< I know it sounds dumb, but for almost six months I had this horrible encounters with a crazy lady who took out her dog at the same time that I took out Ichigo... and the stu**d lady took out her dog WITHOUT a leash! _._ so yeah, the other dog always ended up biting Ichigo and I'm a crybaby and just quit taking her out around here ;_; BUT!!! even if I won't be able to take her out so much when I start college I'm working around our fears!!! ME&ICHIGO, FEARLESS GANG OF CRYBABIES!! YEAH!!!!!

So, there you go :D Oh!!! and even if I have kinda stop watching anime (at least until the new season comes out *3*) I've been re-watching my hildhood again!! XD well, kind off; for my latin-american minions... do you remember this novela called "Corazón Salvaje" with Eduardo Palomo? XDDDD YES!!! Someone FINALLY uploaded to youtube and my mom and I are hooked again, for like the sixth time *0* you can't blame us, because Eduardo Palomo (may he rest in peace ;_;) is just so... HOT on that show *faints* plus is such a lovable love story, without the usual drama that novelas have!! I also got my hands on the OST, if someone wants it XDDDDDDD just pm me 8D

Hope to hear from you guys soon!!

Life is very... it amuses me so much irony XD Since a long, long time ago (well, since my late college first year) I've been keeping books I buy or get as a present for "future pleasure readings", but as I got through first year and then second (SPECIALLY second _._) I found that reading wasn't that much fun anymore. But no less than four weeks before entering my brand new third year I have got around to reading those stacks of books that slept for so long in my closet, and WOW, it has been so fun.

...

It's so funny to think that "growing up" can strip the fun out of things you cherished so much as a kid :/

...

Anyway, enough. XD I'm here to show you people I'm actually alive (very bored, but quite alive) and to tell the world that Alfredo Bryce Echenique can live in peace knowing that I liked at least one of the two books I read from him and that even if Martín Romaña was the WORST BOOKS EVER in my last year of school, I'vev enjoyed everyone of the eleven years Juliu's shared with me.

Thanks man for at last showing me the only thing I like about latin american literature: they all have a way with writing kids.

LOVABLE.

About grown ups? so... boring... so... difficult... so annoying...

About kids? 8D yes please.

Yes! I finally got my results from the jlpt!!! HURRAY!!!

As for the score... well, I should make clear I'm not proud of them XDDD I guess I can't ask for much, 'cause I didn't study as I should (maybe except for kanji, and that part wasn't even that hard or long _._) but then again, they are very poor...

Writing/Vocab: 79/100

Listening: 83/100

Grammar/Reading: 153/200
_________________________

Total: 315/400

_0_ Ah mou!!! I will allow myself to say that I felt kind of awful during the actual test (remember that nasty cold I got? I was coughing during ALL the test and during listening, the part I'm ACTUALLY good at I couldn't hear a thing thanks to my constant coughing XDDDDD people where looking at me so mean!!) but I tried my best and I passed (thou, I don't know how the grading goes) so... I'm gonna stop whinning.

When I got to get my results there was NO ONE in that stupid embassy T_T so no ikemen around to oogle at while Mr. Maximo (part of the cultural staff) took his sweet time PRINTING my results XDDDDD it's actually a funny story 'cause the results are supposed to be very official looking as they show to the world you proficiency but... Venezuela's very special and our test didn't count for NOTHING because we didn't after the official day (darn you, stupid politics!) so... they told me how they did this awesome diploma for those who passed... and it so was NOT an awesome diploma XDDDDD they just printed the results on a fancy paper, that's it!!!! I almost laughed but again, Kawamoto-san, the head of the cultural department and the funniest and most adorable middle age japanese I have EVER knowed came out to give to me *3* AWWW! the chatted for a bit in japanese and then he became all serious and told in spanish (may I tell that his spanish is awful and he never speaks it unless is very important XD that was a surprise...)

- Well, you're going to take 2kyu this year, right?

Patricia laughes an looks from her poor score to Kawamoto-san

- Oh, I can't... I'm taking another language proficiency test this year (a.k.a IELTS) so I'll take it next year!!!

- Oh, I see... - Kawamoto-san looks at me funny and very serious, Patricia gets scared- Well, after you take the 2kyu you are going to apply for the scholarship, AREN'T YOU?!!!!!!!!!

- o.0 Of cooooourse!!!

And so it went XD I don't know why, but since I won the japanese speech contest and didn't get enough score on the japanese test to get the top prize (two weeks in Japan) I think he's a little mad at me for wasting my "abilities"? Because, actually, I can't get the undergraduate scholarship anymore because of the age limit, and I'm thinking of getting my postgraduate major in England *0* (thus me taking a "fake" IELTS this year, see how hard it is) in Easter Asian Studies... maybe I'll get my major in japanese linguistics or keep it simple and in japanese language and culture!! Doesn't it sound really pretty?!!!

GANBATTE PATRICIA!!! KEEP FIGHTING PATRICIA!!! NEVER SAY DIE PATRICIA!!!

YO!!! My people, my minions on stalking, HOW ARE THOU?! Genki? ^^ Iya~~! Hisashiburi ni koko ni kaite okou to omtta kara... nanto naku datta yo! nanto naku...

MOU! >_< What do you expect ME to do but come here and write my rants on my very much beloved Tuti and his oh so very sexy dance studio?! *0* YES! My fangirl hands got into the lastes musicals (did I comment on that post? :/) and damn if Tuti is the hotest dance teacher I have EVER seen!!! XD My mom was really amused when she caught me staring at the screen to this smiling, beautiful Tuti and asked "Hey, what's he dancing?" and I answered very drunk on the adorable-ness "No idea, but it's GOO~D" XDDD Seriusly! I'm glad he looked so nice and smily and... Tuti!! I've heard some rumors on the play he's in right now and I'm really hoping I get to see him in a lovey-dovey roll FOR ONCE.

...

Yes, I do wanna use his performance for my own mind scenarios of my dates with him... what? XD it's really hard to picture him in ANY date without proper information!

So! now that I made my Tuti point of the week, let's move on (if you're wondering how were the musicals... they were cool, but I have to go through them again... but for anyone that speaks spanish and live in Venezuela El escenario parecía el de Sábado Sensacional XDDDDDDDD todo blanco y demás con las lucecitas!! terrible!!!!!! Me dañó la imagen de Bleach X3) Other than that I've been ok ^^ this past week has been awful money-wise but I went to the theater once: It's a play by Mario Vargas Llosa called "Al Pie del Támesis" and while the story was very good, I couldn't help myself to compare it to AruHi, because the structure is VERY similar, with the different voices from the past/present all gathered in one scene, imagination blurring reality, etc. The ending is predictable ONLY if you know how to read the signs, which I couldn't until like five seconds before they tell you the truth about what's going on XD SHIKAKU DESU!!! Only two actors, the male part was delivered wonderful, while the female part... not so much, so there was something off balance nagging me the whole play (Si tienen tiempo libre mi gente caraqueña vayan a verlo, pero la actriz la verdad no dio la talla de su contraparte)

Aside from that I've been reading A LOT!! XD I guess my undergraduate choice wasn't so wrong after all, but alas, I gone astray from good old literature into the more mundane world of "happy readings" so no literature awar winners for me XD! YAY! I've gotta take a break from college, don't I? If you're wondering I've read the three books of the "Otori's Tale" (SOOOOOOO BORING!!! It's... it's... ok, let0s say this: first book is not so bad but the other two books are just a WASTE of time, in my opinion, at least) and went to Christopher Moore's "A Dirty Job: A Novel" (it was very fun, but the translation I got was kind of... crude, to put it lightly. A nice, breezy novel about a poor phobiac guy who happens to have the worst job for a phobiac man: being an employee of death XD, satiric dialogs ahead!!!) and now I'll be reading Antonio Ortuño's "Recursos Humanos" finalist on Mexico's Herralde Novel Award (I said I wouldn't be reading anything from the winner, not the finalist XD), it's supposed to be a comedy on a work enviroment, but I'm on page 27 and nothing really worth laughing :/ I'm getting worried.

And aside from the fact I've been representing the role of a perfect indoor bohemian, my life has been very quite until Tuti's dance studio came XDDDD I hope you people are doing good and smooth. I'm seven days to my birthday (planning to go out to eat dinner with my mom and then come home _._ I think it's a VERY, VERY wrong way of turning 21, but again, I'm really poor and I don't like nightclubs... or have anyone to go with to a nightclub... so I guess it's ok!!!) I'll try not to get family depression get over me on that day and have a fun day watching *pnish* Card Captor Sakura and Shaman King videos all day XDDDD And maybe doing some embarrasing karaoke!! After all it's monday and I'm gonna be by myself at home *evil laugh* SO BEWARE 20TH FLOOR OF MY BUILDING!! YOU ARE GOING TO SUFFER FROM SIRIUS DEPHENING SHRIKS!!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

On a last note, I'm gearing for this autumn's anime season!! I have my very long list of awaited series (KONATA CHAN FUKKATSU!!!!!!!!!!) if any of you are going to see something... what is it? _0_ please tell me that you're going to watch Vampire Knigh! I got REALLY dissapointed last season and I don't know if I should see the second or not.

I'm also TRYING (realoly stress that) to watch Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann but... it's really hard because I dislike very much mecha action and... spanish subs SUCK. Latin american fansubs are ok, but seriusly my hispanic people POR QUÉ RAYOS tienen que usar cinco groserías en una oración de siete palabras?!

The last anime I before that was a very weird and good one: Clannad (the second season is coming in August) and dear me, I can't remember an anime so moving!!! T_T maybe it was just me being dumb but I cried every four or five episodes and the first season only had 22!!!!! the story is very simple, the art and coloring is nice enough for someone like me who doesn't care much about that and the message is bright, clear and made for all: Accept and treasure all encounters (wich is a Japanese believe "Ichigo Ichie") and be yourself, even if you are trying to fit in... XD yeah, it looked like someone in Japan made the anime just for me ^3^

Well!!! See you around!! ;D I hope you're all doing ok!!! ALL HAIL TO DANCE TEACHER TUTI!!!!

Much RABU RABU! Jya ne!

P.S.: For any brave soul that has gotten down here my love and cookies XD I've got a question... During vacations it's my call to make lunch and dinner for my mom, dog and I, but I'm actually running dry of ideas on what to make with chicken, the variations of steak and pork chops XD So if any of you know easy to intermediate recipies without a lot of etnic ingredients (don't go naming any weird french cheesy or fancy ingredients, I'm poor and wouldn't know where to get them ;/) please tell me!! So hello!!! How ARE you people? Long time no see, right? Oh well, you know: when you're on vacations doing nothing is really hard to find time to post *strikes dramatic pose* this kind of life is so hard!

So, have all of you been keeping up with the olympics and all? XD I'm no great fan of sports so you can guess I only know that Japan is kinda short on the medals and that Venezuela sucks, that's goof enough for me! ^3^ What have you all being doing my darling fangirling minions? Since my last post my life has been pretty dull, really: do nothing, pamper my doggie, go to an animecon (where I actually did my Haruhi cosplay! This time around I got it right! I'm kind of happy of how it turned out) went to a play once (it really wasn't much of a play, does anyone know about the show "Who's line is it anyway?"? Well, it was something along those lines :/ It was funny until the porn jokes got out of control and it became a little repetitive, but I laugh a good couple of times, so I guess it was worth it) and went to the movies to see "The Mummy 3" because I saw that it had Jet Li and another wonderful bunch of actors and THOUGHT it would have cool action scenes... But for the love of GOD was that movie AWFUL. NO. ACTION. SCENES. LONGER. THAN. -ONE-. MINUTE. What the HELL?! You got a movie with Jet Li and you DON'T use him at all? He barely speaks!!!!!!! I demand those two hours of my youth back!! or at least, the money I spent on the tickets _0_

As you can see my life has been anything but interesting, but I'm getting by. I'm reading a lot (no, no, no! that's good! I've been reading the kind of books i actually LIKE for once in two years, so it's really refreshing) and taking it easy, but I can't help but wonder if my birthday is going to be just annother day of the week :/ I mean, from the start it wasn't going to be a happy day, after all and even if I'm bubbly and smily as usual I still miss my aunt, but it's my 21st birthday and I wanted to do something special for the occasion _~_ guess it'll have to wait for another year...

For anyone curious my birthday is in three weeks: 1/09!!!

Presents, cards or cyber cookies are all welcome~!!! If you happen to get your hands on Tuti my minions, DO NOT HESITATE!! MAIL HIM!!! MAIL HIM, I SAY, WITH A LARGE RIBBON ON HIS FOREHEAD!! GO, GO, GO!!!

I'm back babies!! Yeah, I took off to Margarita Island on Thursday and just came back this afternoon. It was just over a week, and it was very fun and relaxing... even if I really didn't go to the beach or the pool, usually my mom and I just went to Sambil Mall to eat something, watch a movie (saw Kung Fu Panda... that just had to be the most AMERICAN OTAKU movie EVER!!!!! Putting aside the awful script and the plotless-ness, it was very fum :D) and do some nice and healthy shopping. And I finally set foot in a gym and did some workout over at the hotel.

And now, the question... HOW are YOU all doing? 8D *<= is trying to catch up with anime, news, her books, etc.)

It's Tanabata!! At least for me it's Tanabata night ^^ This is a special night and seeing as tonight is very hot -maybe- it won't rain, so your wish might come true if you speak it to the stars!!

As the lengend goes the princess Orihime and young man Hikoboshi meet this night of the year, crossing a starry bridge set for them: if it rains, they won't be able to cross and see each other, if not they will have to wait another year to be reunited again, so people prey for good weather... and the tradition seemed to get greedy over time and now we prey for good things to come for us too XD

What should I ask for this year? Last year I lost a lot of things...

Should I ask them to come back? or maybe for new things?...

I think that in the end, I'll pray to Orihime-sama and Hikoboshi-sama for the thing I want the most: to be happy with what I already have, that is, my family.

And if something new or something old comes my way then I'll be able to greet it with a smile.

My minions! let's all have a very nice year, let's make our wishes come true!!

Much RABU RABU to you all!! ^3^

Blue.

-o-

:/ Now that's a tricky question...

This is the link that ANN has for the pannel that Anime Expo had about what I believe it's -the- problem that we, as fans, have with anime: fansubs. I wish I had been there, cause it looks really interesting.

So, even if I'm very sleepy I think is important that we speak our minds about this at some point or another. In the pannel different agents from different companies that release/talk anime gave their thoughts: fansubing is just wrong, it took down most of the DVD industry, fansubbing is illegal but people won't have anything about it, nowdays fans are children or highschools and of course, they dont have money to pay for a DVD... Well, the way I see it is yes and no.

The pannel really didn't get realistic... and I reckon's because they don't know us, fans of the occult and the musicals XD. Fansubbing are illegal all you want and it's a problem because I highly doubt it's EVER going to go away. The reasons why would be:

-first: They have the original voices. I think this is THE issue here. We japanese loving people are really expensive 'cause we just don't like the ANIMATION, we like the JAPANESE FEELING. If you dub an anime, well, your just gonna loose that; you -have- loose it: the jokes won't be the same, the words won't be the same and if you TRY to tell me that even jokes can be translated, my friend, you're just wrong because it's not the same.

-second: fansubbing is what most of us grown with. I'll admit that generic anime (or timeless anime, as you wish to call it XD Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball, Saint Seiya even) it's, for most of us, our first encounter with Japan but when you get hardcore (and begin to understand the freakiness XDDD) that's when fansubs come along. They are a big part of 'the culture'

-third: Price. Even if we mope around that anime fans are poor and living with their parents who manage the expenses, in reality, we are people who can GET the money so, why not buy the DVD's that are released in America or whatever normal (because South America doesn't count... if we don't have illegal fansubbing... _._) country you live in? easy, because we like ORIGINALS. If we have to pay for goods we like them to come from the source, let's put it like that. As part of the musicals fan base I can tell you my people that subs are great, yes, but we forget about that if they tells that we can have our original raw DVD's... and that's not really the feeling one gets with an American release.

So, my solution? there's really no good answer to this, but I -do- think that the menace about license (and most probably, DUBBING >_<), bad merchandising and very bad use of a powerful tool called INTERNET is to blame. Licensing, distributing and all other companies are largely at fault for this: you wanna dub an anime? do it as a 'special collector's set' and AFTER the realease of a very much identical product to the japanese one, language, subtitles and all.

You wanna license something? try to put some sort of catalogue in your webs with at least the three first episode of the series, so fans can browse what they want and if they -really- liked it, they can buy it (fansubs are great with this XD you can start seeing something and if you don't liked it, well, you quit without giving up money for an unwanted DVD)

You want a solid fanbase? well, first, tv is a great tool: just try to team up with Japan's anime season and do a worldwide release. I know I'm talking big, and that this is not as easy as it sounds, but I bet it will help. I don't know what's the deal not getting how huge an impact anime has over today's 'young society' but if you want to make money out of it you'll have to recognize the numbers and how your customers think and work... XD really, try joyning a comm or a forum, you'll soon catch up with the crazyness.

Ijyou desu!!!

P.S.2: If you happen to say more typos and mistakes... please be kind please, it's really, really late and latetly my ability with english is kind of dying... I need to go back to reading in english to get my grammar back! XD

_0_ I'M ALIVE! I know what I said, but I discovered that I wont have really enough time to upload de songs (alas, I realized that I don't even have the songs on my computer or my laptop so X///D) but I shall asure you that I will. Sometime...

I'm sure next week will be better, time and energy wise.

So! Yes, today I had my most feared exam: history of art. Sasuga watashi!! I'm pretty sure I failed ^0^ you see? there's so much you can write about when you a)are NOT in the mood, b)don't like the professor, c)they ask you to be to the point but also not to make your answer too short, d)You simply despise the guy.

I think I wrote a really short answer (it was JUST one question!! T_T It's almost animal!) but I hope that whatever I manage to do was good enough to get a decent grade (I'm just asking for a 10 on a 0-20 scale).... I know I'm boring you lot with this but I feel REALLY frustrated by this subject because... well, I've always been good with art, it's been "my subject" since anciente times XD guess there is a first time for everything...

Just four more tests and I'll be done!!! Go me!! Never say die, me!!

XD I'm here!! I'm safe and sound and AMUSED by the new summer anime for this year!! IT'S GONNA BE GREAT! I haven't even finished seeing S.A., Wagaya no Oinari-sama or Neo Angelique Abyss and now this? *dramaqueen* I'm gonna be so busy this summer!

Here goes a list for the anime I'll be seeing, if anyone wants some hints:

- Slayers REVOLUTION: YES!!YESYESYESYESOMGYESSSSSSS!!! T_T It's Slayers! my childhood!! My ALTEREGO for that matter!! I don't now if it's gonna be any good if it's gonna suck but if they have Megumi Hayashibara then count me in baby!! (Plus, let's see what they made for Gourry/Lina XD Poor guy, ever wondered if he's STILL capable of making kids after all that abuse?)

- Lucky Star OVA: YES AGAIN!!! I shall be looking at MOST of my alterego's this season, it seems XD I don't have to even explain why the freakyness and the otakuness commands me to see this, do I?

- Nogizaka Haruka's Secret: XD Again, the otakuness commands and I obey (m)_._(m) Who doesn't LOVE to be mocked in international televition about how weird can we get with our anime?!

- Zero no Tsukaima ~The Princess Rondo~: Even if the title is wrongly translated (I can't remember the correct one ^^;) and that I have to watch the second season well... it was just weird and kind of sweet so I'm in!

- Chocolate Underground: Chocolate.. what a theme to pick! Still, looks funny enough so I'll give it a try

- Someday's Dreamers OVA: I haven't watched the anime but go ME!!! MANIAUKARA GANBATTE!

- Neo Angelique Abyss 2nd Stage: well... it's all about the bishies, ain't it?

See my minions? Your taichou will be busybusybusy ;) expect tiny reports, like in the last season! On another topic... I'm on board for finals! My grades are good enough so that even if I flunk it's gonna be okay! WHOOT! I'll try to keep them as nice as they are now, but I'm so sick of college that... I'll just do what I can. -o- Wish me luck people, I shall need the force by my side to succed!! MUAHAHAHAHA! By the by, and because I ambitious... do you know of a good anime that I can see besides all this stuff? :/ my genres go from romance to comedy, drama, slice of life and really good plot (but go low for the emo and religious stuff, not really my thing)
